The Mazda RX-7 is cult favourite with drift car enthusiasts with its rear-wheel drive system and famed wankel rotary engine. This is further evident from Tomy's choice in selecting 3 out of 6 models (models above) in the Tomica D1 Professional Drift Grand Prix (D1GP) Series. For the record, despite its popularity the RX-7 won just once in the D1GP in 2003 with the Apexi Mazda FD3S (from Wiki).
